You can take a man out of the navy, but u cant take the navy out of him

It has been a long time since I read a statement which intrigued me so much. It is more than meaningful.. maybe it is worthwhile to reflect on this code from RADM Liu.

the values, the ethics, the people, the interactions, the experiences, the trainings and much much more. What do I want in this career?

I look forward to serving. I look forward to living an honourable and worthlife in the navy. In the navy, I will seek to learn from others (my bosses, my peers and my men). I will improve myself and I will work to improve life.

I told myself this: I want to contribute to society. I want to change lives. I will stay through with my conviction and seek to fulfill my purpose in whichever capacity I am in.
